All Saints Seacliff Anglican Church wanted a contemporary logo that captured the beach, a dolphin to represent their local council and ultimately convey that they are a Christian church in Seacliff.
I used negative spacing to feature the back fin of a dolphin which overlaps with the sea cliff. The dolphin’s fin points towards the cross which is the focal point of the logo. The subtle use of parts of the dolphin prevented the logo from looking comical while still representing Holdfast Bay. The blue used resembles the navy blue used in the Australian Anglican Church’s coat of arms.
“Once again I have gone to Sarah to do some graphic design work for me. Last time was for my business, this time for my church. She continues to impress with her level of professionalism and friendliness, not always a combo you find. She also understood our brief and designed something better than any of us imagined for our new church logo. We feel it really captures and images our church well. I would definitely recommend Sarah.”
